weekend recap

Thanks girls, for everything. It is nice to be at a place where people support our decisions *for us* even if it wouldn't be their own decision.

We had a nice weekend. Way to short, but nice. Friday night I got home from work, took a nap, was late to Matt's softball game, went out to supper, came home and went to bed. Nothing too interesting.

Saturday we went to a wedding for one of my friends in Madison. It was quite fancy. The wedding was held at a super large church




and the reception was at a very nice place also. The food was amazing.

And the bride's dress was *almost* exactly the one I was coveting when I was planning my wedding. Same designer and everything. But I couldn't bring myself to buy that expensive of a dress. I was super envious though when I saw her in it. I should have gotten that dress!


All in all a nice wedding. Miss Illinois

was there, I guess, not sure how she knew the couple, but she was there.... and SIGNING PICTURES. I found that incredibly tacky. Signing pictures at someone's wedding. She was pretty (not as pretty as that picture) but incredibly done up.

Went with Karin to the wedding... (she is my friend who is 6 months pregnant)... she looked so cute and pregnant with her nice round belly. And the outfit she was wearing just made her look more cute and pregnant. I thought my outfit made me look not-so-pregnant, especially next to her. But Matt assured me later that I did indeed look pregnant. Got home very late from the wedding.

Yesterday was nice... but HOT. Went to church, lounged around, went tubing down the river with some of my family--so nice as it was SO hot. Can I just say, I am so ready for vacation? We are taking a week in August and going to a cabin in Northern Wisconsin for a week with my parents and brother and his girlfriend. I am SO ready. Feeling very burnt out.
