It is HOT. I just had to go to my doctors apt and I feel overheated now. Argh. I used to LOVE when it was hot. Now I can't stand this heat... craziness. Heard the baby's heart beat for the first time! At my 11 week apt. they didn't hear anything, so I haven't heard it until today. (15 weeks today...hoorah!) Have to admit that I was completely freaked out that I would go and they wouldn't be able to find it at all. And she couldn't at first...and then it was very faint... but she finally found it...she said the baby was moving all around... and then he kicked! That is so cool. I wish I could feel it...but I am sure that will be soon enough. Talked to me about the amnio, she has had two, so she could help with some of my fears. And she really highly advised me to do it. So I can either go to a more high risk hospital, or just so they could be prepared and give me the best care possible. I have been feeling strongly for awhile that I should do it. Matt's still on the fence, which makes it hard for me to be 100% decided, but hopefully with the doctors input it will help sway him. It was amazing to hear the baby's heart and here him/her kick. Makes it even more real. I am so happy to be pregnant. So happy to have my baby. Even if there is something wrong, he/she is still a gift, you know? And I can't let the bad overshadow these exciting times...like seeing the heartbeat, etc. I am still down two lbs (according the doctors scale) from pre-pregnancy. But with my incredible appetite, I am sure that will change soon.

Ugh. Incredibly overheated. Off to get some water.
